Useful Links in London & Essex

As always, I try and provide a few useful links that you may find useful  - the most important are Maps of an area in bygone times.

I have quite a few good links for Maps of London, but am a little short of those for Essex.

I can highly recommend one company for census detail, I have been purchasing their products for some years. Ancestry is not cheap, but I am sure I have had my moneys worth from them. You can actually try it out for 24 days free, and cancel easily if you don't like the service!

Essex offers a fantastic service through the Essex Record Office, more detail to follow.
